Andrew Smith Andrew moved over from
South Africa to be the pastor at King's Cross in 2002. Before settling in London he was pastor of churches in East
London, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. Growing up he was the son of missionary parents in Zambia and he studied at London
Bible College (now London School of Theology). His wife Muriel works locally in the medical field and they have four grown-up
children, Chris, Stephen Joanna and Jennifer. He can be contacted on: 020 7837 3976
Jennifer
Smith Also originally from Durban, South Africa, Jennifer has been active
in various parts of the church's ministry since she moved to London with her family in 2002 (for the observant amongst
you, yes she's related to Andrew!) Jennifer is now a local primary school teacher and also works with KCBC on the
co-ordination of ministries. She studied at the London School of Theology and last year at Hillsong College in Sydney
to focus on worship leadership, and has particular responsibility for child protection policy and children's work in the
church. You can find her at church on Sundays!
Donald Stewart Donald is
a full time city evangelist with the church seconded to KCBC by London City Mission. He has been in London since 1998 but
started with our church in 2003. He is originally from Kyle of Lochalsh, north west Scotland and has been married to Dorina
for 9 years. He is a keen cook, loves to play the accordion and is a fan, only naturally, of all things Scottish! His
ministry is focused on various areas including the drop in centre run by the church and meeting the new age community around
the streets of London. You can meet Donald on a Sunday morning and at the drop-in on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Patience
Mbakadi Patience
moved to London from the Congo in 2003 with his wife Kadi and two children. He has been leading the French language service
since Spring 2007 and leads the French fellowship and prayer meetings during the week also. Alongside their son and
daughter, he and Kadi were recently blessed with another child to add to their growing family! You
can find him on Sunday!
Pete James Pete is passionately Welsh,
and is KCBC's student worker employed directly by the London Baptist Association. His work involves supporting the
church student group and its related activities, local university campuses and other London Baptist churches. His
remit also involves working to develop and support the young adults of the church, most of whom work in London.
You can contact him on kcbcstudents@yahoo.co.uk
